Product Details

Pause If You Must (Pink Edition) gives permission and then takes back the excuse. Stopping and pausing are not the same thing, and the tape is the perfect object to say so with.

About the design

One cassette, shot flat and filling the canvas. The shell is a dusty rose pink with a fine textured finish and a small screw at each corner. Across the top, a plain white label carries PAUSE IF YOU MUST, BUT DON'T STOP. in typewriter capitals, spaced the way a label made at home would be. Through the window you can see the two hubs and the dark tape between them, and across the lower band LIFE LESSONS V.1 runs in white. Nothing else: no background, no ornament, no second idea. Pink and white with the black tape as the only dark note, printed as one landscape gallery wrapped canvas, ready to hang, with a floating frame available as an upgrade.

Where it works

Wide and calm, so it sits well over furniture rather than competing with it: above a bed, a desk, a dresser or a shelf. It reads well in a bedroom, a home office or a studio, and the soft pink lifts a room painted white, pale gray or greige without shouting. A fair gift for anyone who has stopped once and started again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Email support@seembols.com - we typically respond within a few hours.

You have 30 days from delivery to send a piece back. The full purchase amount is refunded once it reaches us.

Shipping is free to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Switzerland and Norway. Cyprus and Malta are the two exceptions. We ship everywhere else as well, at a rate calculated by destination at checkout.

Nothing is held in stock, so each piece is printed and stretched after you order it. That takes 3 to 6 business days, followed by 3 to 5 business days in transit to the US, Canada, the UK and the EU, or 4 to 7 elsewhere. Most orders arrive within 10 days.

Each canvas is gallery wrapped over its frame, and the hanging hardware is fitted to the back before it ships. There is no framing or assembly to do. A floating frame is available if you would prefer one.

The canvas is organic cotton, and the inks are archival and GREENGUARD Gold certified for low emissions. A piece can hang in a bedroom or a child's room without concern.

Dust it with a dry cloth when it needs it, and keep water and cleaning products away from the surface. Direct sunlight fades any print over the years, so a wall out of hard sun is best. If the canvas ever loosens, the corner wedges can be tapped to draw it tight again.
