Product Details

Your Peace Check puts a hard boundary on a soft pink slip of paper. The bill reads, in looping handwriting, if it cost you your peace, it's too expensive. It is the receipt for everything you said yes to when you should have said no.

About the design

A vintage diner guest check sits on a pale blush ground, its ruled columns and fine black lines printed exactly as a real pad would be. Guest Check runs across the top in a script serif, the handwritten line fills the middle rows, and Tax and Total wait unfilled at the bottom above a small line reading Thank You, Please Come Again. The portrait format and the restrained palette of blush, off white and black keep it calm rather than loud. It stands on its own or pairs neatly with other typographic prints.

Where it works

The soft palette suits sage, clay, mushroom or deep green walls, hung above a sideboard, a bench or a breakfast table. It belongs in a kitchen, a hallway or a quiet corner of a bedroom, wherever the reminder is worth reading again on the way out of the door. It is a thoughtful gift for someone learning to protect their own time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Email support@seembols.com - we typically respond within a few hours.

You have 30 days from delivery to send a piece back. The full purchase amount is refunded once it reaches us.

Shipping is free to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Switzerland and Norway. Cyprus and Malta are the two exceptions. We ship everywhere else as well, at a rate calculated by destination at checkout.

Nothing is held in stock, so each piece is printed and stretched after you order it. That takes 3 to 6 business days, followed by 3 to 5 business days in transit to the US, Canada, the UK and the EU, or 4 to 7 elsewhere. Most orders arrive within 10 days.

Each canvas is gallery wrapped over its frame, and the hanging hardware is fitted to the back before it ships. There is no framing or assembly to do. A floating frame is available if you would prefer one.

The canvas is organic cotton, and the inks are archival and GREENGUARD Gold certified for low emissions. A piece can hang in a bedroom or a child's room without concern.

Dust it with a dry cloth when it needs it, and keep water and cleaning products away from the surface. Direct sunlight fades any print over the years, so a wall out of hard sun is best. If the canvas ever loosens, the corner wedges can be tapped to draw it tight again.
